HFS is looking for a MSW Social Worker (Spanish and English proficient highly preferred) with some experience with adoption/foster care. This job will allow you to work with all of our clients – adoptive parents, resource parents, birth parents, and children. It will also allow you an opportunity to interact with community organizations such as the dependency system, courts, hospitals, and clinics. You would be responsible for writing home studies, supervise a case load of birth mothers and a caseload of minors who are under our care.
The current position is for 19 hours a week and you will for the time being on-call, mostly giving information over the phone. This position could have added hours in the future with benefits.
