Sithy Farook

Board Member

Being a member of the HFS Board of Directors holds a special place in Sithy Farook’s heart, not only because she herself experienced temporary displacement from her biological parents from the ages of 5-13, but also because she was raised in the midst of a civil war.  Experiencing the unspeakable repercussions of war throughout her childhood has fueled her background in Children’s Rights advocacy and motivated Sithy’ s passions to do everything in her power to protect and aid children in the search for healthy, safe, and nourishing family environments.   Sithy has earned BA in Philosophy, a JD from Law school, which she utilized to hone her experience and skills in her professional career.
